John Mayer arrived at LAX yesterday wearing his favorite hat, ready to board an outbound flight. John was on the West Coast with plans to play at Tony Bennett's 85th birthday celebration, however, late last week he was forced to pull out of the performance, as well as his upcoming gig at the I Heart Radio music festival, due to a medical condition. Taking to his blog, John wholeheartedly apologized to fans and explained he's being treated for granuloma, a growth next to his vocal chords. The release date for John's next album, Born and Raised, has also been pushed back due to his throat condition and is now slated for 2012.
